A Place with a Past — Designed for Today
A Historic Landmark
Tarabino Inn is a beautifully restored Victorian-era mansion built in 1907 during Trinidad's boom years. Designed in a rare Italianate-Victorian style, the home showcases ornate woodwork, antique furnishings, and one of the city's most distinctive historic porches.
More Than a Museum
Unlike many historic properties, Tarabino Inn is a living part of Trinidad's history. Guests don't simply tour the mansion—they stay in it, relax in its grand common rooms, and experience the atmosphere of a bygone era with modern comforts.
A New Chapter
Under Jeanne’s ownership since April 2026, the Inn has returned to its roots as a full-service bed and breakfast, offering fresh breakfasts, afternoon wine and cheese, community gatherings, art-filled spaces, and thoughtful hospitality.
History, Art, and Stories
Each suite celebrates women who shaped Trinidad's history, while local artwork throughout the mansion reflects the creativity of the region. Guests often describe their stay as a "step back in time" experience.
Guests come for the historic charm—but stay for the experience: restful rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and mornings that begin with a carefully prepared breakfast.
